I have not done any real accurate test. Before buying an NC10 I recall reading a figure of 6 hours in some magazine tests. I have certainly run it on the battery for up to 4 hours or a lot longer if I have used it intermittently and the power saving SW has put it into standby.

I know O American Bosses always want you connected and online to answer emails. In my current job the bosses have been given blackberries and laptops and are expected to be logged into the balckberries even on weekends because the client is paying for it..

You are spot on. As I mentioned I resented the Blackberry intrusion prior to my redundancy. However on this journey I have accessed the internet out of choice. Sometimes a book would be far better or with a suitable window seat just enjoying the view!

To me at least the worry is not the prime lenders like RBS but the sub prime lenders. How will they treat their borrowers whofall into arrwears knowing that they are not great at managing their money in the first place, hence the reason they have a sub prime mortgage. Very worrying indeed and the next big scandal in my opinion.

I used to take a quick train when I spent a few weeks attending an alcohol rehab in Yorkshire. I always enjoyed the views back then and I think they were helpful in my recover. Ever since I’ve had the idea in my head to take several trains around England just to enjoy the views. Sounds like one of these sleeper cabins would be perfect.

I saw those beds and I remembered about a travel by train which took place 3 years ago. I tried to talk to a friend of mine that has a manager position and suggested him to replace the normal beds with adjustable beds . This would improve the travelling quality by a long mile...
